the antena so cute one..

Looks like this is a never solve problem till now. There is a doubt about this Sugar Glider mixed, the ingredients as below:
Ingredients:
Pure fruit juice, pureed fruits, oat bran, rolled oats, wheat germ, flaxseed, 4 kinds of cereal, high fiber meal, protein meal, Atlantic kelp meal, apple fiber, carrots, peas, spinach, potato**natural fruit preserves, yogurt, whole eggs, pure chicken meat, vitamin and mineral supplements, calcium.
If you do read and research in internet, you can see there are a few diet introduce in the glider world, example BML, Leadbeater's Mix , HPW & etc. You will found non of the diet with the same ingredients in the above list. So this is a totally own recipe that maker come out her own. How reliable can this mixed is? and how it can be claim that its the best mixed diet in town?
Of cause, its always can see that the GliderSLURP maker say that her gliders hate BML, which is one of the most famous diet in glider world, her glider smell BML like they see ghost, running away for their live :P. But so far I never hear other glider owners mentioned that their glider hate BML diet.
A customer of GliderSLURP sent a sample for a lab test for his glider good shake, and below are the reports came back and this is posted in a forum, hoping the maker to clarify the doubt about the calcium supplement part, but the thread is close by the Mod with an unreasonable excuse.
I am not going to talk about the Cyanide in here, because that will have endless debate.
From the lab reports above, we can see the...
Calcium : Phosphorus ratio are 0.13% : .013% (1:1) & 0.19% : 0.13% (1.4:1)
The recommandation of Calcium : Phosphorus ratio should be 2 : 1.
Why we need to make sure Sugar Glider get the sufficient Calcium and what will occur if calcium deficiency in sugar gliders? Please google for it, its full of info out there, so I wouln'd spend more time to talk about it here.
As we know, we need to supplement our sugar glider with calcium, it is because fruits and insects contain high in phosphorus, this is why we can see in all the mixed / blended diet mentioned above are added Calcium Supplement. The main purpose of feeding these diets are make sure the sugar glider has sufficient calcium intake, secondly will come with protein they needed.
It is stated that there are calcium added in the of GliderSLURP ingredients, and the GliderSLURP maker did advise not to supplement our glider with additional calcium supplement is we feeding the GliderSLURP.
Unfortunately, from the report, we see the GliderSLURP do not even contain enough calcium for its own phosphrous, even if we only feeding GliderSLURP, and do not feed our glider with others fruits or insects which contain high phosphorus, our glider will still drawing their own calcium from their bone. More over it is advise by the maker we can feed 5 - 6 mealworms per day per glider, what will happen to our glider!!??
In the other word, if we do not supplement out sugar glider with calcium supplement, while we feeding fruits and insects with high phosphorus, our glider will suffer in calcium deficincy, if we feed additional the GliderSLURP, it make our glider worst, because it contain surplus of phosphorus.
